Daegu one is far better than the Busan one. Helpers were friendly in both but Busan staff didn't seem to want to help. Daegu all round helped me.

Awesome customer service and very helpful. Can't say enough. Be polite and respectful and they will help you. Always say thank you . Again totally awesome. Some people have made statements about being rude I myself have never encountered them being rude. Some think that these officals are rude they aren't we all have bad days. So I say do some home work hefore you go. I was asked if I had an appointment said no but i do have a few questions and the agent listened and then went an ask someone else. I saw a offical and got the help that I needed. Again they are very helpful so if you go there remember to be polite.
It's not a place most people want to be. As an immigration office, it's actually fairly inconvenient. Most of the staff at the Daegu office don't speak English, so it's very very difficult and inconvenient to visit here if you don't know Korean. Not only do you need to come here during working hours for many (there's very little you can do online and it is only open on the weekdays from the morning to early evening), but you have to find someone who speaks Korean to come with you (thus also having to deal with someone else's schedule). In general, information on what documents you need to complete certain applications and requirements are either incomplete or not easily found in English or in general. However, if you can find someone to help you and you double check with your employer or other knowledgeable source on needed documents, things are done quickly and efficiently. It's fairly clean and there are places to sit while you're waiting.
Visiting the immigration office is a necessity for any foreigner or immigrant in a country, and as a Korean friend said once, the employees of the office are the first representatives of the country. With that in mind, you may get a bad impression of Korea and Korean people based on the rudeness of the employees at this office. I've had business here several times (alien registration, change of address, registration ID reissuance), once accompanied by said Korean friend, and I have never encountered a friendly employee. I suggest being completely prepared for whatever the purpose is for your visit (bring money, photos, passport, addresses and phone numbers, employer information, etc.) in order to minimize time spent interacting with the staff. One good thing is that they recently automated the "stamp" buying process (this is some sort of taxation or official payment system used by the government) with a machine. They also had volunteers in the waiting area during my last visit, and they were normal, friendly, and helpful.
Well organized and responsive
Its ok
보통인거 잘 알거야
The terrible behavior of the immigration office staff, without even knowledge of the English language. They get angry if a person does not understand them, they begin to get nervous. 영어에 대한 지식조차없이 이민국 직원의 끔찍한 행동. 사람들이 이해하지 못하면 화를 내고 긴장하기 시작합니다.
