Open this month, KOKORO is a new Izakaya restaurant in the neighbourhood. Nice food, varying options for drinks, friendly and fast service, it has every key aspect of being successful. We ordered Karaage(Japanese style fried chicken) and Shimesaba(Cured Mackerel). Karaage was far from the Japanese style but still tasted good. Shimesaba, which can be too fishy for some people, was really nice and did go well with sake we had. This restaurant seems already becoming a popular spot for locals. I hope the owner keeps his business successful by maintaining its quality of service and food.
