Very impressive place. I like feeling of enjoying leisure in a beautiful Korean traditional house. Drink, coffee and bread are well. Especially coconut bread is very sweet that is my preference!!
If you like the way Koreans or Italians make pasta this place is great. If you like the way pasta is made in America you'll be in for a disappointing surprise. Every dish we ordered was under salted, like no salt at all. Maybe people in the U.S. like salt a little more than others. At least the wine and atmosphere is nice. The bakery on F1 IS worth a stop if you like that sort of thing.
This restaurant sits at the entrance of the road to Bukchon Village in Seoul. It is as it's name says Wood representing the old structure that it has retained and the modern in brick. Hence, the old roof and old structure and the modern squarish building. Good pastry, coffee and ambience.
A great bakery, chill vibes and music, an array of pasteries and drinks. A good place for a quick breakfast, snack, or rest point. Price wise is good. Employees speak some English.
Nothing special. The food was average and the service was below average. For the price, I would go to a better Italian restaurant, even one in a nice hotel. I usually write detailed comments, but have nothing to say.
Wood and Brick is a western themed bakery and restaurant that gives off quite an upscale vibe. The price is closer to mid-range around 20,000 to 30,000 won per person for the restaurant with a wide variety of western food choices like pasta. Table service here is excellent and their English menu is comprehensive. Pasta is not bad and seems like they use their own noodles. Walkable distance from Changdeokgung or Gyeongbokgung palaces. Good place to visit if you want a break from Korean food.
Quick service, delicious pastries and good coffee. One of the few spots in the area open before 10am on a Sunday which is how we ended up here.
