Not a buckwheat noodle fan like my husband so I ordered the rice cake soup with dumplings (떡만두국). My husband loved his dish and I enjoyed mine. I could definitely tell a difference from the average rice cake soup.

my first time trying cold buckwheat noodles and i have to say i was skeptical (they looked so plain, and i’m generally not a huge fan of cold dishes) but i was blown away—never knew noodles could be refreshing but that’s exactly how they tasted after dipping in the light yet flavorful broth they give you two racks of noodles per order so it was very filling—i thought i wouldn’t be able to finish on my own, but it was too good to waste any i wish to return at least once before i leave korea update: i did! (and this time i ordered too much to finish...) also, turns out they have 2 branches right next to each other cause i ended up in a different one—staff were kind in both but especially this location
FYI 수제 돈까스 (Sujea Donkkaseu/ handmade pork cutlet was tasty too. A portion here is very big 4 people are just right for 3 dishes. My second time in this shop I try cold noodles and Miljeonbyeong (buckwheat pancake roll) was okay I like bibim memil and boiled pork are much better. The staff was very kind, the bibim memil (비빔메밀국수) spicy noodles they gave a really big portion came with fresh veggies it’s very tasty, the streaky pork with fresh veggies and kimchi is really good too, here the side dish which is kimchi and pickled radish was great they use a good quality ingredients..
Buckwheat dipping cold noodle on a hot summer day is a must. There is always a queue so be prepared to wait in a line. Michelin rated. If you cant the find place, ask for 피맛골 (pi mak gol) and you will see a queue.
an eight-thousand-won bossam that is both fishy and tepid. And plain noodles
This place is overated, and it definitely didn't meet my expectation. Their soba noodle was overcooked and it wasn't well washed off in cold water, which left weird taste in my mouth. Their pajeon, the classic korean omelette with spring onions & octopus, was greasy and too thick. The place is also loud and hectic with careless staff who don't pay any attention to the diners.
Ok in downtown Jongro. Buckwheat noodle is average but sauce is unique. Grear taste
Excellent korean style soba. I love it.
