Great historic site to visit. Entrance fee is about 1.5 usd and worth the visit. Best place to park is at Art museum next door.

Enjoyable experience in a tourist friendly area of Suwon. Museum of art is nextdoor. You can also walk to the large Buddha that overlooks the city. Can get muddy so wear proper attire on rainy/snowy days.

On 23th25th of October, the night festival is held in the Hwa Seung Fortress, Suwon. There are many events showing Korean traditional culture. However, it is cold to enjoy the festival. So there are fewer people.
