This is one of my favorite Korean cold noodle places. The soup of the cold noodle is a bit more salty, which might be the reason why this place is undervalues compared to other famous cold noodle venues such as Neungra-do, Bongpiyang, and Ulmil-dae. If you are such a naeng-myeon lover and thought the cold noodles of those 'famous' places were not tasty or they did not taste anything, then Pyeong-Gaog can be a 'gray area' for trying the Pyeong-yang style cold noodle. I also tried the dumpling stew (Mandoo Jeongol 만두전골) here and it was not bad. But I think I would not order this menu again. Dumpling itself was excellent. It tasted like it did not contain a ton of chemicals, which is usually the case in other Korean dumpling places. However, the soup was not special. The ingredients make their own taste and they cannot make more than that. There is no synergy I would say. I would like to buy the ingredients and make the soup by myself, considering the price. Ordering 2 cold noodles and one dish of dumplings would be the best combination for two people.

처음 먹어본 이북음식 온반. 곰탕도 아닌것이 만두국도 아닌것이 약간 얼큰하며 참 오묘하며 맛이 있다. 수육, 전, 버섯, 만두등이 어우러진 제사후 차례음식들을 이용하여 만든 국밥인것 같다!!
