There are containers of shoe stores along the road parallel to the subway. There is a fantastic cafe called Onion about three blocks from the subway its along the road perpendicular to the subway. There are multiple leather ventors on the road south west of the subway. I went there at night so during the day it maybe more interesting.

New hippy town for art and culture. Place has been famous for leather shoes and its factories for a long time. A lot of nice cafes and bars are opening up with great loft spaces. I would recommend visiting if you like the vibe in Brooklyn back in early 2000s when all the hippy-artist started gathering at the area.
Despite just having 4 little exits, Seongsu Station is quite busy and massive, yet manages to only have a set of about 6 lockers available for storing your belongings, one of which has the nerve to be broken. When I told the customer service office located in the station about our predicament, they told us to take our luggage to Konkuk Uni. Station or to E-Mart (which was closed on this particular Sunday). \Go to another station\ is the wrong answer. I suggest, I don't know, removing some of those hideous displays of old shoes and installing more lockers. Your area is a hotspot now. Adjust accordingly.

성수역은 자유자재로운 곳이다. 전철및 물품판매하는 곳도 별로없고 2번출구로 나가면 금연하는 곳도 넓고 좋아 지저분하지않은 거리이다. 담배꽁지도 아무데나 버리지 깨끗한 거리이다.
