Definitely worth a trip if you like historical sites. This place is 2,000 years old. Plan to spend at least two hours to walk around the entire fortress wall. There are many excellent views for beautiful photos here. It is also well-lit at night and is very stunning to see at night.

복원한거 같긴한데 그래도 좋아요 그리고 성안으로 콩국수 맛있어요 면천은 콩국수로 유명합니다.

읍성은 요즘말로 시내라고 할까요.. 성이라고 해서 그 성이라고 생각하고 오시면 실망하실 수도 있을 것같습니다. 봄은 벚꽃 여름은 연꽃 가을은 은행나무 보러가시는게 좋을듯합니다.

아직 정비는 부족하고 당진시의 홍보에 비해 그만큼 대단하지는 않은 곳이나 그럼에도 가치는 있는 곳입니다. 타지에서 올 정도는 아니더라도 주변 사는 사람이면 가볍게 지나가다 산책하고 갈 정도는 된다고 봅니다.
