고속도로에서 꽤 안쪽으로 올라가야 나오는 휴게소. 금수산자락이 얼핏 눈에 들어온다. 꽤 높은 지대에 있지만 아쉽게도 단양시내는 보이지 않는다. 휴게소 뒷편에 다양한 조형물(주로 장승)과 산책로가 있어 둘러보기 좋다.
