One of the place that you should visit at Seoul. A beautiful park and most of all, I went here because of the respect for the soldiers who have bravely sacrificed for independence, freedom and happiness of the people. I admire them.

national cemetery where soldiers and presidents were taking a rest in peace. so the mood and atmosphere is quiet and serious. But at the same time it is one of the best place to enjoy spring flowers in Seoul. Especially old weeping cherry trees are the best. Here is one of few place where you can enjoy full blossom of old Weeping Cherry trees in Seoul.

Highly recommend stopping by this place. They have designed this place like a park where you can slowly walk around, sit and breath in fresh air and be surrounded by nature and ofcourse pay respect to many korean soldiers who sacrificed their life for the korea that is now. You can spend a good few hours there walking around and also visiting the 2 museums. (All free) one museum is a bit outdated and does not have english translation but it is still nice to see the artifacts from the war etc. The other museum right infront is more modern with english and some interactive information regarding korean war. Definitley a beautiful place to visit when you are in seoul! Right infront of the subway- super convinient.

A place to remember those who served the country. Also, a place to rest for citizens. The best to visit during cherry blossom season in early April.

Visited this place with my family in the early morning of the New Year's day of 2019. My family and I just wanted to pay respect and thank to the people who died for the Republic of Korea and buried in the Nat'l Cemetery. If it were not for them, we wouldn't have been able to enjoy what we have now. Million thanks to them.
