always wanted to go to Sam Kim's restaurant and finally i did it when i was visiting Korea a few years ago (may 2016). You need to make a reservation in advance, but we were very lucky to be able to make the reservation on that day in the morning for a lunch for two. Unforgettable experience. It was a course menu and loved every single thing in it. Pasta was so good. I hope to eat there again when i visit Korea. i only took two photos before the actual meal began. Totally forgot about taking photos once the food arrived.

The food was absolutely DAINTY! The service was nice. The servers were really attentive from the minute we walked in. They do have valet parking, and reservation is a must. And, I sensed that they didn't want us to be late when we were given a reminder call the day before our reservation. Sure enough, when we didn't arrive on time, we were asked to wait a little bit. But, that was not a big deal. I felt as if each dish was like a piece of artwork. It was very pleasant to look at and difficult to dive into for the obvious reason--didn't want to ruin it. Although the portions are not too generous, the taste definitely makes up for them. The ambience was not bad, but it did feel a bit rigid for some reason. And, the restaurant was a little cold inside. But, all in all, the food was impressive!
A feast of flavor that is spread from mouth. The service is also very good. It's a good place to date. It was introduced in the Michelin Guide. Reservation Required.
Great service, wonderful food, delightful staff. No wonder it has survived through the years with such an impeccable setup.
28.08.2019: it’s absolutely qualify as Michelin restaurant and worth to visit, I was well taken care of from the moment I walked in by the receptionist, wine taster and server for lunch dining. Price for lunch course range from krw 48-72k, a bit cheaper than Mingles :) Food is amazing as well, the chef, Sam Kim, is trying hard on his mission “Enduring classic, yet it is thoroughly modern”. Food favour is quite creative such as fungus smoked by rosemary then serve as soup with truffle ravioli, it’s really the east meet the west..
Amazing food.. it is almost like art and delicious
