Gunsan is good city to travel. For foreigners and also Locals. This museum and its area is quite small but we can meet many cute and modern buildings.

Great newly built museum in the heart of Gunsan. There is a lot of history about the area. Most exhibit descriptions are in Korean only.

The people who forgot the history has no future\ seems to be the motto of this museum. Nice five-story museum(but only 3 stories are for museum) that covers from the stone age to modern days of Gunsan. Most items(not all) were explained in English so foreigners also can read and learn about the history of the city. On the third floor, there was an exhibition about Donghak movement where the peasants gathered and fought against corrupted government and the Japanese.
