Ended up here because the tour map given to us indicated that there are ancient tombs here. While there are several ancient royal tombs here (easily recognizable by the mounds), would strongly recommend skipping this place as there's not much explanation to the mounds and you would not know what you're looking at. Trying to run up the mounds however, will net you a 2 million won fine. Just visit Daereungwon Royal Tombs instead and you'll still experience the same thing.

과거와 현재가 조화롭게 공존하는 경주. 길을 걷던. 차로 드라이브를 하던.. 주위 풍경이 너무 아름답다.
사진으로는 그 규모가 짐작이 되지 않지만, 실제로는 상당히 크다. 하지만 규모에 압도되기보다는 근사하고 당당하다는 느낌을 받았다. 겨울에 가도 운치있다.
관광객은 의외로 잘 모르는 겨울 운치 있는 곳. 동쪽, 서쪽 고분 쭉 돌면 대략 20분즘 걸리지만 추천함. 봉황대 나무들이 이질적이라 묘한 기분이 듬. 아쉬운 건 주변 스피커에서 현대 가요가 흘러나와서 고분군과 매칭이 안됨. 이런 게 진짜 이질적이겠지?_ 도로 맞은 편에는 황리단길 있음.

경주노동리고분군. 일명 봉황대라고 부른다. 신라 고문중에서 규모가 큰 축에 속하는 고분이다. 신라의 문화유적 답사팀에게 매력있는 포인트. 일반 관광객에게는 큰 감흥이 없는 곳이다.
왠지 바오밥 나무가 연상이 되는 신라 왕릉의 고분군. 왕의 릉이 아무렇지도 않게 사람사는 곳에 있다는 것이 경주의 숨겨진 매력임이 분명하다. 보존하고 유지해 나가야 하는 소중한 유산임이 분명하다.
