I was so glad I went there! Such a great place for a walk, reminded me a bit of the Forbidden City in Beijing as both were imperial palaces. Beautiful!

This is a beautiful historical site. We were on a tour and walked through it way too quickly. It would have been nice to spend several hours here taking in the rich culture and beautiful surrounding.

Better experience if you have someone to guide you. Beautiful scenery especially at night. You cannot miss this place when you visit Korea.

Wearing hanbok makes the whole experience more exciting The palace is very near our hotel in Seoul. It is within the city! There are a lot of palaces! And they are huge! A must place to visit when you go to Korea!

We loved our experience here! It's so grand and there's so many little nooks and courtyards to see. There's also an option to wear a hanbok here as well! Take your time exploring here; it's worth spending a couple hours at least! Note: Visited prior to Covid, so things may be a little different.

Pretty good. One of the best historical royal palaces in Seoul. It is spacious, clean, tranquil and pristine. A beautiful place to explore and take photos. Visitors can dress up in traditional garb called hanbok that can be rented from outside the palace. Great for the \I've been there\ photos. scenic

Nice, open palace grounds, though it can feel a little stark with minimal vegetation in certain open areas. However, the buildings are colorful and guided tours are offered in various languages. It’s located near many other enjoyable historically and culturally relevant sites. Nearby shopping and dining options are abundant.
