Wonderful gallery with seven exhibitions (at this time of this review). Be careful with Exhibition 4, though. It shows explicit videos and photos of sex dolls so you might not want to take kids. Dont forget to make a reservation through their English page. They give each guest a set of three postcards upon arrival, which I thought was a nice touch. Overall highly recommended.

This museum is currently closed to limit COVID 19 spread, but when it’s open, it’s always a pleasure to visit. The use of space and light inside of the museum are really well executed. A new exhibition is introduced monthly and there’s always something fresh to challenge one’s artistic senses. I’m really looking forward to visiting again, but I’m glad we at least have access to the museum campus.

Part of the experience of exploring this museum is the venue itself. Spacious, light, open and good balance between indoor and outdoor spaces. It’s a not a huge collection but there was a significant exhibition on at the time. Free lockers and umbrella holders at the entrances so you don’t have to lug your stuff around with you

Best art museum in Seoul that you must visit if you consider yourself an art lover. Extremely inexpensive entrance fee that offers free entrance after 6pm on Saturday which I was able to take advantage of. The space is massive and spans multiple connected large exhibition halls and is centrally located near the Gyeongbokgung palace and other landmarks of historical importance. Lots of english descriptions makes it easy for international travelers to navigate around. English brochures and maps allows for easy wayfinding. Free lockers near the entrance allows those with luggage to store it without lugging it around. The museum focuses on modern art and abstract pieces that are extremely unique and haven't been exhibited anywhere else but the pieces are world class. The creativity of the artists being showcased was very impressive. I was able to quickly finish visiting the museum in about an hour but I could have easily spent 2 hours or more if I took the time to read every single informational display which was all extremely interesting. Must visit for modern art lovers!

Its nice, convenient, and artistically beautiful! They conserved two kinds of buildings: a traditional korean architecture on the back (perhaps an annex to the palace used to be there) and a modern/colonial building at the front. I went there to see the Duchamps essential—totally worth it. Ticket is also cheap!! (4000) for all.
