Amazing garden in the middle of a very busy city. It is definitely worth the visit.

Beautiful impressive Korean garden. Massive there, you need a day to go around the Palace and the garden. I had a de ja vu there when passing by the pond. It was 2017 it was my first visit to South Korea. And no I didn't watch any K drama before visiting then. I had a dream visiting there before. So when I saw that place in the secret garden I was so shocked. When I was at one of the pavilion there was a strange wind blowing pass, so strong that it blew away my sunglasses and my hat... So may be my past life I was there. No it was a K drama. I never watched any K drama before visiting the Palace or Seoul. In this life, I Love this palace especially the Secret Garden!! I will go back again for sure.

Such a beautiful and serene garden. The guide tour was helpful to understand the stories behind and interesting to follow. The garden is big and very well preserved and maintained. I would love to come back for fall season, it much be even more beautiful with all colored trees. You can visit only with guide at a designated time slot, pre-booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

A spectacular and beautiful ‘garden’. There is a series of pavilions, residences and other buildings elegantly woven into the terrain. There are also several lovely ponds. It is a bit of a hike, lasting about 90 minutes but well worth every step.

Very beautiful garden in the palace. It you got time, it is worth the extra money. We really enjoyed the tour. Usually, you have to stay with your tour group. However, twice a year self tour is allowed. We we're lucky to be able to tour it at our own pace.

Went on a night tour (only available to foreigners on Sundays, visit auction.co.kr to get tickets) and it was beautiful. I've never seen the secret garden before but at night, it was definitely magical. Highly recommend if you can get tickets. This event is only available a few months a year, so book in advance. If you have trouble walking, this might be hard for you to get around as there is a huge flight of stairs on the way back.

The best season to visit the secret garden is Autumn!!! Indeed the colour of autumn makes this place more beautiful and not to mention is the best place to take a lot of photo! The fees is only 8,000won for adults and 6000won for kids, you will get a tour around this area with explaination from a tour guide. You can even choose which language tour that you want and make sure to arrive as early as you could to buy the ticket for secret garden since they only allow certain number of people to enter, if you wanted to make sure you get the ticket; go to the website and book early. Since the ticket at the counter were sell by first comes first serve basis.

Fairly stroller friendly. Just a few spots you wouldn't be able to go. There is a nursing room on site for diaper changing and nursing. Beautiful peaceful garden. If you want to visit the secret garden you must book ahead on a tour. We had a diaper blowout so we missed the English tour but got in on the Chinese tour but just walked around on our own.
