May be my review could not be so accurate because the Restaurant, Tavolo 24, is popular for the Korean buffet but I could not experience it because it was closed due to COVID-19. For dinner, I had inroom dining with LA ribs from Tavolo 24, along with Aglio e Olio pasta and Fish&Chips. The dishes, very frankly speaking, were very disappointing and even frustrating. Especially for LA ribs, a quarter portion of it was fat. Last week I had same menu in Courtyard Marriott Times Square but I should say the taste of Courtyard was super better than that of JW. The Fish&Chips? Only Potato Chips were good. But thick fried Fish inside were rare and could not eat..(As matter of fact, it was the first time in my Marriott's dining history over hundreds..) Aglio e Olio pasta? I would not like to mention.. May be, my unmet expectation and feeling of disappointment was due to COVID-19 situation because many properties and hospitality industry are sufferring serious financial problem should cut operating costs. So, I will have a chance to stay in this property again some day in next year.

Taking in the graceful scenery of the palace (Dong Dae Moon) from our table while eating great food with loved ones was such a blessing. It was my fourth time dining here. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone.
This was another great start to a long day of travel. The menu offered both traditional and Asian selections which pleased everyone in our group. The staff was friendly and welcoming and service was extra fast.
The restaurant has a clean, bright, and classy feel. Good service also. You pay for the experience though. It isn't the cheapest place to eat.
Breakfast buffet at Tavolo 24 costs 41- USD. The food selection is extensive, make sure to fully look around, go all of the way in the back, so that you do not miss any of the stations.The food is delicious, a large selection, something to make everyone happy.Disappointment that the omelet station did not have an employee ready to begin when the restaurant opened at 06:30, nor did the soup station.Dishes were not cleared in a timely manner from the table between visits to the buffet.Beverages are not served at the table, you get your own. I was thrilled with the selection of food and quality.
Stayed at JW Marriott Dondaemun Square for 10 days. Every morning we enjoyed buffet breakfast at Tavolo restaurant offering a vast Korean, European, Asian, and American culinary delites. Even though a self service buffet, the restaurant staff saw to our every needs and comfort.One standout crew member, is Sophia. She is exceptional in hospitality. Every morning greeted us with her warm smile and greeting. When Sophia noted that we had a cough, she brought over a pot of hot water served with honey and lemon slices. Cough was gone by and of day. The food and beverage manager, Para Kim, is also a notable standout for providing excellent service.All professional front desk staff very helpful with information on hotel, getting around in the city, and interesting places to visit.JW Marriott made us feel like the Dondaemun Square address is our home away from home.
The food was awesome for a buffet. When I went, there was lobster and some of the best roast beef I've ever had. That being said, the selection wasn't great, but it was of all high quality. Also, the self-serve riso ice cream was amazing! I would definitely go back.
Food is excellent in general and the sushi is absolutely amazing. Super baby and child friendly!
