Here is still one of the best place for exchanging WON!! The rates of several shops near by are, of course, the same.

Apparently the best exchange rate in Myeong Dong, and possibly the whole of Korea(?) However I would advise to exchange money in your home country. I think it provides better exchange rate. On the side note, the staff that handled the transaction is loud and inattentive. She was constantly on her phone.

Indeed the rates are good and a queue seems to form at any time of the day. Reminds me of the money exchange in Chinatown but of course the queue is not that Long. The shop beside it has the same exchange rate but no queue. So it’s your choice if you want to do the touristy thing to queue up or just get it done with the one beside to maximise your shopping time!
