We arrived at the Seoul application center on the 23rd of September with my boyfriend to apply for a student visa, we had all the required documents ready but we were told that from the 16th of September 2019 if you don't have a Korea citizen ID you CAN'T apply on the Seoul application center. The only solution we were given was to fly back to our country Colombia and apply there. We were not the only ones who had this problem, all the foreigners were getting the same answer. On the Chinese embassy web site, there is no information about it. I am writing this review to give a heads up to all the foreigners without a Korean ID thinking about applying here.

I read their website thoroughly and came here to get a visa, since tourists qualify based on the info they provided. I waited in line and handed in my stack of carefully prepared documents. The woman doesn't look at them and says if I don't live in Korea, I cannot apply. Uh, maybe put that requirement on your website then!?

Everything is smooth and perfect. If on ARC there is hand written date of extension then you must take this certificate of Alien registration from any nearby community center

On the required documents list, they say: \legitimate entry stamp to Korea on passport/Alien's Registration Card. \ We have visited, as normally understand it means alternative, you can provide either the entry stamp or Alien's Registration Card. But the fact is, you have to provide both. For those who has no stamp on passport, you need to apply it in the immigration office in Incheon Airport

Insanely unhelpful, super rude, could not do anything to process a visa despite all documents. Was told I cannot get a visa because I renewed my old passport while in korea. If this is what China is like, Taiwan #1, free Tibet, long live Hong Kong.

The staff speak English well and they are polite. There is a passport photo machine there that is easy to use, quick and gives you 6 photos for 10,000.
