There is a good feeling that the old atmosphere gives. When you go up to the second floor, you have to do almost everything on your own. The bathroom is also uncomfortable. Compared to that, the taste is not so special.

For more than 30 years, the owner has been serving great dishes to people who visit her small and old restaurant. She said it is only due to a lot of people who come and enjoy her food everyday that she keeps opening this place till now. The food here is not delicate, but anyone can feel the depth and time that it bears. Pajeon(파전), so called a Korean traditional pancake here goes really well with Makgeolli(막걸리). It is one of the places which keeps the true soul and vibe of this Euljiro neighbourhood.
Close to the heart of Euljiro. Definitely worth a visit for a savoury pancake or three with some friends. Make sure you try the makgeolli. The old lady cooking the pancakes was asked by a young Korean why she was still working at such a busy place at her age (72?). \People keep coming and it gives me something to do\. There's not much English going on here so I suggest bringing local help. The ladies working at the place will have no qualms about yelling at you rather than saying thanks when you order your food or ask to many questions. A national treasure for sure. It's a small place so expect queues.

Tastes so good, but the room is a bit stuffy
I go here somewhat regularly, but sometimes they give me a meatless nokdu jeon and other times they act like they can't make it and force pajeon on me instead. I like all of it, but when I have a specific taste for the breadier pancake, pajeon just ain't gonna cut it.
