A very tasty lunch of 갈비탕 and 왕만두 at a popular restaurant near our house that we finally visited. We've recently been enjoying 갈비탕 as it is very nutritious and the beef ribs have been good to eat. This dish is nice and simple but still very flavourful in the broth and just the natural taste you get from the beef ribs. I really enjoyed the nice tender beef on the ribs which I would dip into the mustard sauce and there was plenty of meat on the 3 ribs that i got. The 왕만두 was also well made and there was plenty of filling inside that was very well seasoned and balanced. What I enjoyed about the meal was the natural flavours you get from the different ingredients and you don't need to add anything extra as the quality of the ingredients is what you enjoy.

I had their specialty, 갈비찜 (broiled short-ribs), 만두 (dumplings), and 냉면 (cold noodles) to finish off. They were all pretty good! Being a 냉면 fan, I especially liked their 회냉면 (with sashimi in it). The building of the restaurant itself has history in it, so you can taste the history of Korea from the interior &exterior of the building itself. It may be a bit pricey for the amount you get, but I think it's worth it!

Good place for cold refreshing nengmyun.
We got the Galbi jjim (small) for two people and a naengmyun and they both tasted great but the galbi was slightly overpriced for the portion size.
