I love this place. Lots of variety, legit bread besides white.

I heard the owner is French but I wasn't impressed. The shop is also dark ( the lightening is bad and I feel not comfortable just when I enter it). Their ( Palmiers) is very similar to the original taste but it tasted once oil.. it should have been done with butter! I go there sometimes just to buy ( les palmiers) nothing more.

It’s famous for croissants. I got a chocolate croissant, but it didn’t meet my expectation. It looked great, but it’s far from being a croissant. It was a chewy texture. It wasn’t moist. It wasn’t my style. Their financier (reasonable price) was not tasty. It needs more flavor. Would not recommend.

Well how to start...A lovely bakery in the heart of Busan hold by a true certified fellow French Maitre Artisan. By the way Maitre Artisan is just the French title for Art Master in bakery and pastry (in this case). Compare to other standard Korean bakeries, you can find a wider variety of French pastries: several type of croissants, pain au chocolat, macaron, éclaire au chocolat etc... and the baguette taste is surely amazing! Not That I dislike Korean products but I Was happy to taste something different from the standard Korean bake. The shop is located in a very narrow street so parking is quite hard but you can try to look for a parking lot or a parking space near by and walk your way back to the shop.

Definitely the best pastries you can get from Busan. I’m not a pastry connoisseur.. but i tried from many famous shops around Korea and other countries.. and this one is my top3. However it was a bit disappointing how they use microwave to heat up the pastries. It made the pastry inside soggy. And you shouldn’t use same vinyl gloves to handle money/credit card and also to pick up the bread.. but those are just minor issues. I will definitely come back
