What are the goals of UMUN? -- To cultivate future leaders UMUN aims to cultivate competent leaders and to foster global citizenship by educating delegates on current issues that the international community is facing and to equip them with the skills to resolve those issues. -- To provide a learning opportunity Delegates will develop several skills throughout this process, including but not limited effective communication, negotiation, public speaking, critical thinking, teamwork, and co-operation. -- To foster networking UMUN provides a great networking opportunity by bringing together the most impressive young leaders with similar interests in international relations, politics, diplomacy, etc.
