Amazing! Best place in Seoul to satisfy your meat cravings. The quality and flavour of the different pork cuts and sausages is simply incredible You have options for meat platters for 2 to 6 people and include choices of different cuts and side dishes The place is located in a narrow alley and up some stairs. The crowd is very diverse ranging from trendy young friends to couples to families with kids. Prices are very reasonable for the quality/portion size you get. Interesting enough, this is the best BBQ I’ve ever had and I’ve lived in Texas and been to Tennessee. The food is so flavorful and the side items are absolutely delicious. Great place to get food with friends or order shuttle food delivery.
I used to live just a 3-minute walk from where Manimal Smokehouse resides. If the restaurant was around while I was living there, I'd probably be a regular customer and much, much heavier. On a trip back to visit family, we made our usual pilgrimage to some of our favourite and some new BBQ spots. This one was a new one for us, but it came with many great reviews so we were willing to give it a go. I was very pleased with the quality of our entire meal. It wasn't busy when we got there and we had our pick of the smaller seating area to devour this meaty goodness. I'm someone who usually loves a good brisket and will pass on the sausages, but I've got to say that the Manimal sausages are some of the tastiest I've had anywhere. If in doubt, grab the meal with a little bit of everything and then you can double down on your favourites the next time you visit. Next time, I'm in Seoul. I'll be visiting Manimal again :)
These guys did a great job with their food. I ordered the 3 meat combo and got the raspberry glazed spare ribs, pulled pork and brisket. The sides were green chili mac and cheese, brocolli and coleslaw. The only miss - which was huge - was the brisket. It was cold and a little dry. I am going out in a limb and saying that it's due to COVID-19 since there was very little people in the restaurant and it's been that way since the government pushed to level 2 and 2.5 closures. It's hard to serve great fresh food when the people aren't there. I will come back again and give it another try.
The pulled pork with onion pickles was the highlight. The coffee rub pork ribs was good too, but a tad bit dry for me. You can taste the smokiness in the meat which is great. The sides were all good, especially the charred broccoli. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was casual and cost.
Absolutely delicious! This little place will make you feel like you are in the heart of the USA eating some of the finest BBq to be had. I had the two meat plate and it was a good amount of food. The only reason I knocked it down a star was for price, but I'm also not sure what it takes to run that fabulous restaurant out here either so if they are priced correctly for everything then it's a 5 for sure. It is a bit small so be ready for that and you need to go down the side alley to get there so be on the lookout but well worth it. Not far from Seoul Military base.
Delicious food and service.Go early so you dont miss out, at least at 5pm to get the best cuts.
Amazing rib. the photos below should explain more than words. Also have few taps for beer. It does get crowded on weekends so expect some waiting
