if you are foreigner, this hospital can be a nice choice as there is multi language support service. but you'd better contact previously with enough time because very busy hospital here.

A nice hospital located near itaewon. Went here with my girl when she had stomach cramps. Took the ambulance and went to the emergency ward. They took food care of her. It was on the expensive side but usually the university hospital's are more costly.

I've been to this hospital's ER a few times as it is the closest to my house. A couple days ago, over the weekend, I went in because my lymph nodes were so swollen I couldn't eat, drink, or sleep. They did a few unnecessary tests including an expensive influenza test and tried to do an EKG test which I declined. They tried to tell me it was part of their \basic testing\ regime but since I've been there before, I told them I've never had them do that test before and they just went away. They didn't give me any proper medication; it wasn't until I went to a proper ENT doctor a couple days later because I wasn't getting better when the doctor told me that they didn't even prescribe me antibiotics—just ibuprofen and cough medicine. If I'm going to pay over 10x the cost of a regular visit because I am feeling badly enough to warrant an ER visit, I better well be feeling better after, not worse. After going to the ENT doctor (at a different place), I felt better within hours of getting the proper medication. I wasted 150,000 won and 3 hours and will never go back again.

Currently, I am dealing with chronic lower right side pain. I had an ultrasound at Iteawon International Clinic where the doctor told me that I have gallstones. I tried some remedies and found the pain did not go away. I decided to get a CT Scan to find out if there is anything serious in my abdomen locally in my town. Nothing! No gallstones. So, I went Soon Chun Hyang University Hospital to get a second opinion on the ultrasound scan and CT scan. The doctor told me that there is nothing on both scans. She, an internal medicine doctor, suggested to see another doctor (physiotherapist). I asked if they have acupuncture. She said yes. I agreed. I told the elderly man and another health professional my problem of pain that appears to come from my right hip. No x-ray, or scans where taken. He began to examine me and told me to roll on my right side and then the left feeling for painful spots. He then asked me if I wanted injection. I replied no! So, he went ahead and started to apply long needles to my right hip area. I don't mind acupuncture so I never said anything. But the next thing I knew this doctor decided that giving me excruciating pain was the solution for me!!! I told him to stop and he said yes okay, and kept on pushing the long needles. I was facing the wall, and didnt see what he was doing. He punctured my liver! He held me very firmly so I couldn't move otherwise I would have jump up. This should not happen to anyone! I am considering legal action. This has to stop!!!

The service is really bad. I came with my illness getting worse but the counter lady said i have to come tomorrow. I came late cuz have a lot of exams. ㅠㅠ
